We met some wonderful Canadians representing three other provinces (go figure!) and enjoyed our days getting to know one another better, sharing our experiences from Olympos (especially Steve’s heroic experience) and other parts of Turkey and just lounging around doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING whether it was on the boat or in the water.

Our first boat cruise!!
We were glad to leave Olympos and head off on our gulet (boat) cruise that would take us to our destination of Fethiye. Along the way we stopped at many cities and bays to enjoy the wonderful history and scenery that these places had to offer.

Passing by the Sunken City at Kekova Island – remnants of foundations and walls can be seen under the water
Our visit to see the ruins of ancient Simena and the Byzantine castle perched above the hamlet
View from the hamlet

Hey you two strangers,
The trip continues to look better and better as each day goes by. SO JEALOUS!!! Ravy, how was it swimming in the open water? Was it scary for you without the noodle? And no life jacket? I'm impressed and very proud of you!!
What's with the message, see no Peace sign Steven? Is this a person that you meant that too thinks that it is crazy when people make a peace sign when taking a photo?? If so, that is a good man!
I miss you too and hope to hear from the two of you again soon.
Luv Natty ;)
fishing without a rod? did they even give you a hook?
near the end there it seems as thought the baot (Armin 1) sank and the lot of you were bobbing in the water.
... I make up my own story to go with the pictures
