Vancouver - the land of Weddings

Boy oh Boy!!!! Is it time to go already? Man how time flies when you are having fun. I guess it has been well over a month now since our last blog update, and for all of you globe-trotters that we have meet thus far and those at home whom have been following us via the internet, we are glad to let you know that we are back on the road starting tonight. A 10 hour flight into Munich from Vancouver to continue with the European portion of our perfect year abroad. So the blog site will be coming fast and furious as it had been prior to our stint in Vancouver.

But before we start with write ups and the photos of Europe we wanted to share with you the reasons we came back to Vancouver.

Reason #1:
To be a part of Pete & Tara’s Wedding on July 22nd, 2006

I have known Pete since my early days at the University of British Columbia. Through our love for sports we met as adversaries, but quickly became great friends as we got to know each other through many beers and cheers. So Tara if Pete is not home when you get home from work, he might just be with me either at the gym, or on the tennis court or at the field kicking the soccer ball around. Here’s to the two of you, and to many many many years of happiness and togetherness.

Reason #2:
Aron and Lisa Cable – Second wedding in two fabulous weeks - August 5th, 2006

Well where do I start with this one? Like Peter, I met Aron at university and we quickly became close friends, but it was not just the beers and cheers that brought us together, it was the experience of living with Aron that brought our friendship into a state of brotherhood. Aron and I were best of friends and roommates for a number of years where we enjoyed our bachelor life. We somehow managed to have a great social life in spite of the demanding work load. He helped me through some hard times emotionally and professionally and it was without any hesitation that I would be standing beside him on his wedding day. Lisa you are one lucky woman to have the intelligence and charm to have captured his heart. I look forward to continue to be an integral part of your lives. May all of your days be filled with the warmth and love that you are sharing right now on your honeymoon.

Try to persuade Natty to NOT get onto the plane with us back to France!! (Just kidding Nattster, we love ya and are more than happy to have you join us on our trip).
